- The Florida Association for Insurance Reform or FAIR’s inaugural industry conference discussed the role that catastrophe reinsurance plays in markets heavily exposed to hurricane risk. A series of interactive discussion panels debated public policy options to create additional market stability and mitigate against future rate increases. Reinsurance companies, rating agencies, property and casualty insurance groups, legislators, regulators, market analysts and other industry stakeholders were invited to attend.
